The Victor Barna Trophy was contested at the Ellenborough Club on 19th April.  It was particularly pleasing to welcome back the Central League after many years of absence from this competition.  Their team comprised of Raymond Lam, Hieu Tan and Maciei Nakielski. Also competing were the ever consistent teams from North Middlesex (Phil Ashley, Robin Ashley and Dan Bronziek) and Wembley & Harrow (James Sprackling, Dov Katz and Lee Dredge)
 
Wembley & Harrow successfully defended the trophy they won last season with wins against North Middlesex by 8 - 1 and Central by 7 - 2  North Middlesex lost to Central by 1 - 8  These results do not reflect the closeness of many of the games which were greatly enjoyed by players and spectators alike.
